• Mixing: Always stir well with a flat paddle before use
• Application Method: Brush, roller or trowel
• Thinning:Not recommended. This product is ready for use undiluted; thinning with water will reduce its hiding power
• Cleaning: Clean equipment with water.

For Brush, Roller or Trowel application

• Apply a generous thick, coat of Yeka Leaks™ Fibre Infused Sealer to the area that needs protecting in small manageable sections
• Allow to dry 6 hours before re-coating
• Apply a second, third and possibly fourth generous coat, waiting 4-6 hours between coats, until the membrane is saturated, and the surface has an even and very noticeable high sheen.
• Three to four coats of this product are used for best results
• Do not apply after 16:00 in the winter
• Do not apply exterior if it looks like rain will occur, within 4-6hours of application

Rusted Metal

• Remove all rust with a good quality rust remover, scrub, and rinse thoroughly with water
• Heavily rusted areas should be sandblasted to remove all existing paint and primed
• Remove dust, foreign material, grease, and oil with a degreaser
• Scrub with a hard broom or wire brush and wash off thoroughly with clean water
• Ensure that the surface is sound and dry before painting
• Apply 3 coats Yeka Leaks™ Fibre Infused Sealer allowing 4-6 hours of drying time between coats

New Metal

• De-grease surfaces with a good quality degreaser to remove the manufacturer’s grease protective layer. Repeated the process until the surface is water break free
• Rinse thoroughly with water
• Prime the clean de-greased metal with a water-based metal primer
• Apply 3 coats Yeka Leaks™ Fibre Infused Sealer allowing 4-6 hours of drying time between coats

Uncoated Cement Plaster Surfaces

• Remove dust, foreign material, fungal and algae growth
• Fill all visible crack and spot primer with plaster primer
• Apply 3 coats Yeka Leaks™ Fibre Infused Sealer allowing 4-6 hours of drying time between coats

Fibre Cement Surfaces (Uncoated/Weathered/new)

• Remove dust, foreign material, fungal and algae growth
• If friable or powdery, seal with bonding liquid or plaster primer
• Apply 3 coats Yeka Leaks™ Fibre Infused Sealer allowing 4-6 hours of drying time between coats

Previously Painted Surfaces

• Make sure old paint coatings are firm and solid
• Remove all loose, flaking and bubbling paint with Paint Stripper, scrub thoroughly with hard wire brush or broom and rinse with water
• Remove all dust, grease, foreign material, fungal and algae growth with a good quality Degreaser
• Wash thoroughly with water and allow to dry
• If friable or powdery, seal with bonding liquid or plaster primer
• Apply 3 coats Yeka Leaks™ Fibre Infused Sealer allowing 4-6 hours of drying time between coats

SPREADING RATE

• 2m²per 1l application on 100 microns per coat.
• Coverage will depend on the porosity of the surface and application method

FINISH

• Semi-Gloss
